Tejas Storytelling Festival 2020!

The festival is right around the corner!
This year I was honored to be asked to present my workshop: Storytelling in the Dual Language Classroom. So, if there are any teachers in the Dallas/Denton area the weekend of March 12-14, you might be interested in attending. There are other great workshops as well. I will also be performing my story, Xochitl y Papalotl, at the Fringe Concert from 3:30-5:00 on Saturday, March 14. If you don’t know what a Fringe Concert is and you’re in the vicinity, stop by and learn!

I will be storytelling on the trolley from 5 to 6 PM. Each ride is 15 minutes long.

I would like to thank Thenisha Smith from the Fort Worth Public Library Youth Services Department for inviting me to perform this weekend in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. I will be performing at the following libraries at these scheduled times:
Southwest Regional Library (4001 Library Lane): Saturday, 10/12/19 10:30-11:30 AM
eSkills Library & Job Center (2800 Stark Street): Saturday, 10/12/19 4:00-5:00 PM
Central Library Youth Center (500 W 3rd Street): Sunday, 10/13/19 3:00-4:00 PM

Grant Award!

I want to thank the El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department for awarding me a grant that will allow me to tell “Scary Stories” at five venues this fall.
If you know a library or school within the El Paso city limits who is interested in a one-hour storytelling performance, have them “Contact Mi!”
